Give Credit
Art is everywhere! Whether it is a master painting, beautiful haiku, or inspiring words of wisdom, we all have times when we can truely appreciate the wonderful work of others around us. One thing is for sure though, credit must be given and no one should ever take credit for another's work. This week we talked about plagiarism, copyright, and citations and how important these topics are to our academic success and protection of the work of others. To show our appreciation for other's work, choose your favorite quote from brainyquote and post it below. Remember to put the whole quote in quotation marks AND cite the auther of that quote at the end.

It's that time of year! Macy's is holding their annual campaign with the Make-a-Wish Foundation, a great non profit organization that grants wishes to children with life threatening illnesses. To support this great foundation, Macy's will donate $1 for each letter to Santa a child writes. You can drop off your letter to any Macy's store or submit one online by clicking the picture above. Help Macy's reach 1 million dollars in donation.
